The Breathtaking Muscle Car Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is a breathtaking muscle car powered by a 6.2-liter HEMI engine delivering 707 hp and a 650 lb-ft of torque. It is a rear-wheel-drive car with a great performance and way more power than the chassis can handle. One thing’s for sure, they’ve got the name right for this car.

The Hellcat comes with two different keys, a black key that gives you about 500 hp, and a red key that gives you 707 hp and a top speed of 199 mph. There are three different drive modes and their variations. For example, the Valet mode disables the launch control, keeps the transmission in a street mode, reduces the engine power and limits the engine to a 4000 rpm. In this mode the paddle shifters no longer work, the traction control is forced on and the car is set to a street suspension.

In the Hellcat mode the car becomes a little more aggressive, the transmission shift points are different, the suspension firms up, and you can change all that to a custom settings if you like, but in this mode the supercharged 707 hp at any speed will overwhelm the traction that you have in the rear end. That makes the car little scary to drive, because if you step on it, the back end just struggles for traction. In this mode the acceleration time from 0-60 mph is 3.6 seconds and the top speed is 199 mph.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat might not have the Camaro or Porsche stability, but it is comfortable and powerful and it is all that American muscle car should be!
