American Muscle vs Italian Supercar Quarter Mile Drag Race

We are about to see a quarter mile drag race between one of the greatest American muscle cars and one of the greatest Italian supercars. It is a battle between a 1970 Dodge Challenger, most probably powered by a 7.0L HEMI engine delivering 425 hp, and a Lamborghini Countach, powered by a 5.0L V12 engine delivering 414 hp.

The Dodge has only 11 hp more than the Lambo, but that is insignificant. There is a old saying “Horsepower sells cars, but torque wins races”, and I believe that is going to be the crucial factor in this race.
