Why the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is Not For You?

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is not for everybody, this is an extreme example of a performance muscle car. They’ve made this car not to be sold, they’ve made this car to send a message to the industry and to show who they are, what they are, and what they are all about. The first thing that makes the Hellcat so special is the most obvious thing, it is the supercharged engine. They’ve never offered a factory supercharged HEMI, this is the ultimate performance V8.

The command of power you have with your accelerator foot is unbelievable. They’ve started with the 392 HEMI and upgraded over 90% of the components in the engine to create all of this torque and horsepower. Ultimately they have delivered a HEMI engine with a 6.2-liters of supercharged power. There is a unique brake system that comes with any supercharged car, there is an adjustable suspension with a unique springs, and there is an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode. The manual transmission is an adaptation of the Viper transmission.

If you think about a Challenger, this is more than 95% of the performance enthusiasts in the world will ever need. But there is that guy out there, there is that 5% of the enthusiast population, they want more, they want more horsepower, they want more HEMI, they want more braking, they want more aggressive styling. If you don’t recognise yourself in those 5%, this car is not for you.
