DeLorean DMC-12 is the legendary sports car used as a time machine in the Back to the Future trilogy, manufactured for the American market from 1981-83. The first prototype was built in 1976, and the first comercial car rolled off production line on January 21 1981. In the production period of 2 years 9,000 DMC-12s were made, changing several features of the car over the course of production.

This car features fiberglass chassis along with a stainless steel body, but the first thing that gets your attention when you’ll see this car are the innovative gull-wing doors. It is equipped with 2,849 cc Peugeot-Renault-Volvo (PRV) ZMJ-159 V6 engine with 5-speed manual transmision or 3-speed automatic, available with a choice of a grey or black interior. This car have a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 8.8 seconds when equipped with a manual transmission, and 10.5 seconds when equipped with an automatic.
