2013 SRT Viper vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series

SRT Viper VS Mercedes SLS
This two cars are very similar. They have big engines at front delivering more than 600 HP, long nose, tiny little trunks and you basically seat on the rear wheels. The 2013 SRT Viper is powered by a 8.4L OHV V10 engine delivering 640 HP. There is no dual-clutch transmission, it is equipped with 6-speed manual which makes it harder to shift gears, and it takes more time. The acceleration time from 0-60 mph is 3.5 seconds. This car have a linear throttle pedal and such precise steering, but the SRT is not very pleasant place for the driver. The pedals are angled off to the left, sometimes instead of brakes you hit the gas, you have poor visibility at front and the engine is too loud. There is 30 degree difference between the temperature at the driver’s feet and at the driver’s head. There is so much heat coming out of the exhaust pipes, that this car is actually melting itself. If you look at the paint at the door jamb, which is right above the exhaust pipe, you can see it’s melting. But you simply forget all of this the same moment you hit the gas pedal, and you realise that the SRT Viper is a great car to drive.

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS Black Series is powered by a 6.2L DOHC V8 engine delivering 622 HP, equipped with 7-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission. The acceleration time from 0-60 mph is 3.2 seconds. The steering of this car is very precise, but same as the Viper, there is poor visibility over the long hood and the engine is too loud.

Now lets see who is going to win if we put this two supercars in a quarter mile drag race, and who will win on the racetrack.
