The 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS For Those Who Demand Excellence

Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a dificult car to describe. On one hand it is a street car for the raice track, and on the other it’s a race car for the street. Nothing you see on this car is there for show. The massive adjustable carbon fiber rear wing generates up to 485 pounds of downforce at 186 mph. The same goes for the big front splitter and the air dams on the front guards, they help to generate another 242 pounds at the same speed.

The car is powered by a 4.0L H6 engine, delivering 500 hp, that can go up to 9.000 rpm quite easily. There is no manual transmission option, only the 7-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission is available. The acceleration time from 0-62 mph is 3.3 seconds and the top speed is 192 mph.

All the body work is exotic, the bonnet, the engine lead and the front guards are carbon fiber, but the roof goes one step better. It is a millimeter thick slice of magnesium that helps to reduce two pounds of the carbon fiber equivalent. Attention to detail, that’s what Porsche 911 GT3 RS is all about.

There is only one thing to say about the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, it’s the purest driver experience on the planet!
