The Corvette is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged engine delivering 700 hp, tied to a 8-speed automatic transmission. Both cars are rear-wheel drive. Hellcat will win hands down every time, despite your bias opinion.
It still looks like the hellcat would have won if he didn’t red light. Then again in a sanctioned race he would have lost. Still I (me only here) believe that the Hellcat was stronger in the long run
Either car would be a wonderful weekend machine. Fun fun fun!
Redlighting isnt cheating , its just bad driving. So why not post up the time slips? All answers will be found printed on that little piece of paper.
hellcat was 10.30 134 mph , vette was 10.60 at 128 mph . simple math heads up , no redlight , hellcat was faster and quicker . it’s all in how much is done to each car
The cars raced twice and were recorded behind the line and from the side by separate camera’s. The Hellcat had a quicker both runs by 3 to 4 tenths of a second (10.308 vs. 10.661) (10.278 vs. 10.699) Red lights do not affect elapse times. The Hellcat driver lost both race’s but the Hellcat was the quickest car.
The Hellcat is rated at 707 HP not 850. The Torque is rated at 650.
A stock Hellcat is rated at 707 HP, Torque 650. 850 HP is in Demon territory.
