2016 Dodge Viper ACR
The 2016 Dodge Viper ACR has the unmistakable presence of a racing car. This 2-door coupe looks exactly like something engineered for a competition. The aerodynamic package of this ACR includes a larger front splitter, a taller and a wider rear wing, removable front-fender ends and a deeper rear diffuser. This front-engine rear-wheel-drive supercar is powered by a 8.4L V10 engine delivering 645 HP and a 600 lb-ft of torque, with a 6-speed manual transmission. The acceleration time from 0-60 mph is 3.2 seconds, from 0-100 mph it is 7.7 seconds and the top speed is 177 mph.

What goes fast should stop fast, and that’s the reason why the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR is equipped with a carbon-ceramic brakes designed to withstand the usual intense of heat that occurs during the braking. They have several advantages over the iron materials found in most brakes, like for an example, they are less resistant to deformation or warping, and they don’t corrode.

The cockpit of this last generation Viper is light years ahead of any previous model. There is a driver-oriented 7 inch TFT instrument cluster and a latest Uconnect infotainment unit. Listening to the the sound sistem is absolutely pointless, since the amplifier has been removed in the name of weight settings. The carpeting is reduced just to essentials. Alcantara covers much of the interior and the color-palette is restricted to black, unless you go for a personalised ACR thru the 1 of 1 program.

The fuel consumption is 12 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway, using premium fuel. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR is $118,795 with options that can go higher than that.
